Attorney Peter Kraft was born and raised in Seymour, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors). The following year, Attorney Kraft attended Marquette University Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While attending Marquette University Law School, Attorney Kraft volunteered at the Milwaukee County Family Court Self-Help Clinic. Through this volunteer experience Attorney Kraft developed a desire to help individuals navigate the complexities of our court system.
While attending Marquette University Law School, Attorney Kraft interned with the Waukesha County Corporation Counsel. This is where he began obtaining courtroom experience. Attorney Kraft’s internship included Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) cases as well as cases for Children in Need of Protection or Services (CHIPS). Attorney Kraft also had an internship with Judge Carroll and Judge Triggiano at Milwaukee County Children’s Court. These experiences proved invaluable as they helped Attorney Kraft gain insight into a judge’s decision making process. The insight obtained through these experiences provides value to all of Attorney Kraft’s clients.
Following his graduation from law school, Attorney Kraft began his career at law firm that would become Holloway, Johnson & Kraft in 2008. His dedication to his clients, and his results in the courtroom has led to his promotion from associate attorney to a partnership position within the firm. Since June of 2014, Attorney Kraft has operated as a solo-practitioner so that his sole focus is on his client’s legal issues.
Attorney Kraft has extensive trial experience in both civil and criminal cases. Attorney Kraft has won acquittals at multiple trials to charges including Operating While Intoxicated, Battery, Disorderly Conduct and Reckless Endangerment. Attorney Kraft has also helped clients in family matters including divorce, CHIPS, TPR, and child custody cases. Attorney Kraft values input from his clients in every aspect of their case and works with passion and dedication towards achieving their goals.
